DeCardy has long and close relationship with four of the Midwest’s best tool design and tool-making shops. Their superior engineering and craftsmanship is supported by state-of-the-art equipment, software and machining expertise, providing the highest quality tooling with the shortest lead-times. Working together with this select group of tool makers ensures we have the same goals. These tool makers will fine-tune their tool designs to fully utilize our advanced die casting capabilities. They stay in step with our ongoing equipment upgrades and advanced capabilities helping us provide the highest quality, most efficiently produced zinc die cast parts.

Die Modifications

DeCardy’s on-premise capabilities for tool maintenance and modification allows us to modify and adapt existing dies for faster take-overs, lower turnaround times, greater cost savings and easier ramp-ups.

Take-Over Dies

If a customer wanted the same costs and the same issues they had with their previous die cast provider. . . take-over dies would be easy. At DeCardy we understand that change needs to come with improvements and as an experienced die caster, we have the ability to work with many different types of existing dies to improve their production efficiencies. Customers with take-over dies typically experience the DeCardy Difference with the very first quote and consultation.
